My very first car. The one that started it all was a '93 Camry that my Dad bought new in late 1992. By the time I got it in 2002 the body and chassis were in good shape, but the engine had been replaced with a used unit. The original engine had blown up, had a partial rebuild, then blown up again. Unfortunately my Dad had neglected to keep up with the oil changes. . .in fact both parents had engines blow up around the same time as result of infrequent oil changes, so friendly reminder. . . change your damn oil! But I digress. . .
The Camry served me well until the Summer of 2005 when it started losing oil pressure and I ended up getting trading it plus some $$ for a '97 Dodge Neon. . . Not really my best deal, or a fitting end for my first car, and one that had been in the family for nearly 13 years.
The Camry was such a good car that I ended up buying another '93 2 years later. An XLE with the V6, and all the bells and whistles.
